He also makes sure that everyone he works with can reach him at any time. Will is also a master at supervising and managing his team of mortgage loan officers, whose respect he earns every day as he brings out the very best in his team. Not surprising, for he is also a military leader. He Was a Company Commander in the U.S. Army Reserves, supervising 250 soldiers and managing over $20 million of equipment. He has planned 2 rotations of deployments of his men and women to Iraq to help with special forces.
Will grew up in a small Mississippi town and has lived all his life in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration, his experience in finance and mortgage dates back to when he was Senior Credit Manager with Wells Fargo Financial, handling mortgages and auto lending. After that, for 4 years, he served as Financial Specialist with Wachovia Bank, building relations with bank clients seeking mortgages, auto loans and investment opportunities.
Before establishing Reliant, Will was an Area Sales Manager for Santander Consumer USA Inc. out of Baton Rouge, where he focused on maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, keeping them up to date on lending policies and resolving any issues that might arise in the underwriting and funding of a loan.
